Ape born at the Indy Zoo, shared on Mother’s Day

INDIANAPOLIS – On Mother’s Day the Indianapolis Zoo has shared with us a new primate born in the zoo!

The baby ape’s name is Koko and the new bundle of joy is apart of the zoo’s gibbon family located in the Forest section of the zoo.

While it is currently unknown what the gender of the infant is, the zoo has announced that Koko is doing well.
