Columbus police searching for missing 11-year-old

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Columbus Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding a missing 11-year-old boy who was reportedly last seen Tuesday afternoon.

CPD is searching for Rider Newman, who is described as a white male last seen wearing a royal blue t-shirt and navy blue jogging pants with black/gray camo shoes. Newman was last seen Tuesday around 4 p.m. walking west across Hinman Street toward a wooded area.

CPD added that Newman has a scar on his neck and a feeding tube on his stomach. The public is urged to check south of 17th Street if they would like to assist law enforcement in locating Newman.
