Former Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department chief to retire

INDIANAPOLIS — The former Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Chief, Randal Taylor, will officially retire on Monday, June 16, 2025.

Commander Taylor served IMPD for 32 years, and spent a total of 38 years in law enforcement. He served as the Chief of Police from 2020 to 2024.
