Great day ahead; fall-feel to end weekend

A few clouds expected this morning but a brighter start to our Friday rush hour! Along with a few clouds, a cooler start will be enjoyed out-the-door. Some patchy fog is around but nothing too thick at this time.

This afternoon looks great with a blend of clouds and sunshine, milder air and light northeast winds. Expect highs this afternoon reaching the lower 80s in your hometown.

Tonight brings a lot of outdoor activities with kickoff to high school football, Fever downtown, GreekFest and Symphony on the Prairie to name a few…the weather looks ideal! Enjoy…

Saturday brings a bump in warmth with increasing clouds before a cold front arrives in the evening. A few showers are expected between 6-10 p.m. in several counties, before clearing skies and cooler air seep across the region overnight.

Sunday brings a cooler, breezier flow under partly cloudy skies and a huge drop in dew points, as a fall-feel takes hold into early next week! Some morning lows in the 40s expected by Tuesday morning.
