INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis metro police are investigating a homicide after a person was found dead on the city’s near west side.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, police were called to the 1100 block of Medford Avenue shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday on report of a person down.
Police said officers arrived at the residential area located near 10th and Tibbs and discovered a deceased individual.
Police said the investigation is being treated as a homicide but did not provide any additional details at this time.
