INDIANAPOLIS – IMPD is investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another injured Saturday evening at a west side park.
Officers responded around 7:30 p.m. to the 4600 block of West Vermont Street, the location of Thatcher Park, after receiving reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found two individuals who had been shot.
Both victims were initially reported in critical condition, but police later confirmed one of them died from their injuries.
IMPD has not released any information about possible suspects or what led up to the shooting.
