INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating after four people were shot early Saturday morning across Indianapolis.
Three of the the victims were pronounced deceased, while a juvenile male was transported to an area hospital in critical condition, according to police.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of East 21st Street & Central Avenue just after midnight on the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male and female with apparent gunshot injuries. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional information was provided.
According to police, the second shooting took place just before 2:30 a.m. in the 7800 block of Red Mill Drive on Indy’s east side. This is just west of East 38th Street and North Franklin Road.
When officers arrived, they located a juvenile male with and an unidentified male with gunshot wounds. The juvenile was transported to an area hospital in critical condition, while the second male was pronounced deceased.
According to police, a disturbance occurred at the location before the shooting took place.
