INDIANAPOLIS — All lanes of 465 westbound are closed after a suspect involved in a police pursuit crashed on the city’s south side.
INDOT cameras show a large police presence blocking traffic between S. Keystone and Madison avenues, just west of where I-65 splits off of 465 on the south side.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the suspect vehicle had been involved in a police chase but the pursuit was terminated before the vehicle crashed on the interstate.
Police said at least one suspect is still on the run after fleeing the vehicle following the crash.
IMPD said minor injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
“Officers are working to get westbound lanes reopened as soon as possible. The safety of those involved and the public are our priority,” IMPD said.
