INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana State’s run in the National Invitational Tournament ended Thursday night after losing to Seton Hall 77-79 at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Thursday’s result marks the end of the Sycamores’ run to the NIT Final after the team defeated Utah 100-90 earlier this week. The Sycamores also dealt with being left out of the 2024 NCAA Tournament as they cruised to 32 victories throughout the season.

Indiana State’s road to the final included a 101-92 victory over Southern Methodist in the first round, a 76-64 win over Minnesota in the second round and a victory over Cincinnati with a score of 85-81 in the quarterfinals.
